Chemical creping on Cotton Gauze using Devore Burnout / using a lye formula.
From the Rorschach Collection, this luxurious print is inspired by minimal geometrics. For the woman/man who has everything.. Selvedge edges are left raw but will hold to the test of time, and through many years of washing.
Because of the sheerness of the materials and the bold print used with analogous shades of grey and black, the pattern does not overwhelm. It disappears and reappears in places that draping occurs more frequently. It is always in flux with the movement of ones' body as you walk and move around.
Worn around the neck, as a hair accessory or even tied around a hand bag to achieve simple refined elegance.
CARE INSTRUCTIONS /Or Dry Clean
The procedure for hand washing at home is really simple:
1. Fill the sink with lukewarm water, (70-90 degrees is fine). Use a natural soap in liquid form such as a gentle shampoo or anything you would use in your own hair.
2. Place the unfolded scarf in the water and let soak for a few minutes. Then gently agitate it by plunging up and down.
3. Drain the water and rinse until the water no longer leaves a soapy residue, again with lukewarm or cool water. If you are unsure about any soap residue, it should not smell soapy or scented.
4. Gently wring out excess water and allow to drip dry. It will dry fairly quickly because the Chiffon is very sheer. (Most times within the hour)
5. Once dry, iron over using a steam cloth or towel.
